Just as the Bible is a good textbook, but goes deeper when we think of it as a personal letter from God - getting to know more about Desmond Ross and his faith, which cannot really be separated, inspired me to walk closer to God in a daily basis.As a minister, I definitely recommend this book to my fellow Christians and my family.

I have followed this wonderful Godly man since my childhood , what today's new generation learn from a selfless human being . I feel it to be the perfect timing to bring forth his true compelling story and what God can do in your life ,making each day a miracle.

The life of Desmond Doss shows that he and God had a relationship that was so alive that he demonstrated it in fierce battle during WWII to carry wounded soldiers to safety. This is his story, a great read.

This booklet tells the story of Desmond Doss in a quick, to the point way. It is a great read for someone who wants a brief summary of the testimony of Doss's life. Thank God for men who follow the conviction's God puts in their hearts. Many men's lives and no doubt souls were saved because of Ross's convictions. Truly inspirational. What do you hold to?

I enjoyed reading this book! The movie Hacksaw Ridge prompted me to read more about Desmond Doss. What an amazing man! I lived in Piedmont, Alabama for 15 years and wish I could have met him. Excellent story!

Great inspiration. True dedication both to God and his fellow man. True peace only come from God. He knew that first hand.

Amazing story of courage and strength a out a Sailor who almost lost his life during the attack on Pearl harbor, was discharged, went home then was able to reenlist to serve our country till the end of the war.

I enjoyed this book and I recommend this book to others.It is a story about a very courageous soldier and how inspirational his life was. Desmond Doss was an amazing man.
